  • Beschrijving: The film, based on Beaumarchais’ comedy “The Marriage of Figaro”, is led by an exceptional cast: Gigetta Morano, Eleuterio Rodolfo and Ernesto Vaser. The director Luigi Maggi was a key figure of the first Italian cinema, whose importance has not yet been fully recognized. The video is a copy from the film print preserved by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in 1997: 35mm, triacetate, positive, colour (Desmetcolor), 522 m, 26' to 18 fps, silent.
